Carrol & Sanderson
Following an expression of interest from residents on the estate to form a TRA (Tenants and Residents Association) and create more positive engagement amongst the community, Walls On Walls were invited in to facilitate a period of focused, creative activity to support this outcome.
Over several weeks of outdoor, summer workshops experimenting with visual, audio, physical and 3D materials, residents were invited to explore their estate and reflect on what they liked, disliked and what was working or needing to change. This process brought people together to have a voice over how they would like to be more involved in contributing to their community creating a sense of ownership and possibility for the estate.
After the project, residents came together to form a TRA which has enabled them to make long term, key decisions as to how they want the estate to move forward into the future.
