Medway Court

A collaboratively-produced sound piece as part of Walls On Walls Camden at 50 audio-visual installations.

This piece is inspired by the soundscape of the vicinity: the railway hubs of St Pancras, Kings Cross and Euston, the sounds of daily life for residents in the neighbourhood and the regular appearance of wheeled trolley-suitcases from passing visitors.

The composition connects with the repetitive patterns of the visual part to the work - inspired by a similar geometric design which was an original feature of the building from the 1950s, by architect Denis Clarke Hall.

All visuals and sounds used in the piece were captured and created by residents of Medway Court.
